TANNER LIND
Tanner Lind is an artist based in Portland, Oregon. His work explores emergence and complexity through abstract painting by engaging systematic processes that balance intention and unpredictability. Posing the question “How do things come to be?”, his paintings aim to highlight gradual change and the unfolding of new qualities, energies, and experiences through collaboration with a pattern of anticipation and response that echoes the dynamic of life. Tanner’s work has been exhibited nationally, most notably at the Plains Art Museum in Fargo, North Dakota and the Center for Contemporary Art and Culture in Portland, Oregon. He received his BFA in Painting and Drawing from North Dakota State University in Fargo and is currently pursuing his MFA in Visual Studies at the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon.
