ARTIST STATEMENT

I like to draw.
I like to draw from my dreams.
My dreams like to draw from me.
My hands interpret what my heart feels and what my gut knows.
What I draw tells me stories and I write them down.
I leave my head out of this process.
My head gets in the way of deep listening between me and my art.
My head is a liar.
If I listened to my head I wouldn't be an artist.
